ALMOND CARAMEL SLICE

INGREDIENTS:

Base:

1,5 cups almonds

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp water

Caramel:

1 cup Medjool dates, pitted (soaked in boiling water for 10 mintes)

1 tbsp coconut oil

pinch salt

1/2 tbsp water

PREPARATION:

  1. For the base, place almonds into food proccessor and blend until brake into tiny pieces.
  2. Add the rest of the base ingredients and blend it well till sticky dough will form.
  3. Place into small rectangular tin and place in the freezer.
  4. For the caramel part, just place all ingredients in your food proccessor and blen it well.
  5. Spread the caramel layer on the top of the base, sprinkle with some sesame seeds or any crushed nuts you like and place in the freezer to set.
