Classsic garlic hummus

Everyone has their own unique twist when it comes to making hummus and I highly recommend you add your own too. This classic recipe is very creamy, rich in fiber and protein.

It is very useful to have some hummus in the fridge and spread on toast when you’re hungry.  Easy to spread on sandwiches, wraps, rice cakes, crackers,  used as a dip for veggies or even grapes.

INGREDIENTS :

400 g chickpeas ( I use organic can chickpeas )

1/4 cup liquid from can chickpeas

5 Tbsp lemon juice

1 1/2 Tbsp tahini

3 clove of garlic

1/2 tsp Himalayan salt

2 Tbsp olive oil

PREPARATION :

1. Place all ingredients into high speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

Enjoy!
