This nacho cheese is gluten free, inexpensive and all ingredients are easy to find. If you’re addictive to cheese but want replace it with vegan option, that would be good alternative for you. There are so many dishes you can make with this delicious plant-based recipe, like mac and cheese, pizza or whatever that calls for cheese. I usually eat this cheese with tortilla chips.
INGREDIENTS :
2 cups peeled, white potatoes
1 cup peeled carrots
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Himalayan salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
PREPARATION :
1. Chopped potatoes and carrots and boil or steam them for about 20 minut or until soft. Let it cool slightly.
2. Place all ingredients into high speed blender and blend until smooth .
3. Store the vegan cheese in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
