The main ingredient in that juice are leaves from the radish. Most of the times the leafy greens from radish plant get thrown away or composted, but they’re edible and delicious. You can use them in salads, make creamy soups or add to your smoothies or juices.
Leafy greens from radishes are extremely rich in vitamin C, which plays a key role of collagen production.
To increase the level of vitamin C I used to juice some oranges and grapefruit, which will also help with iron absorption. I hope you’ll have a chance to make that juice and enjoy its flavour.
Leaves from 4 radishes
3 inch fresh ginger
1 1/2 oranges
1 big grapefruit
1 sweet apple
1/2 lime (optional)
Juice all ingredients in a slow juicer, strain and drink.
