VEGAN WAFFLES

I’ve just rcently realized that i haven’t share my favourite waffles recipe here yet. So there you go, try this and let me know what you think. They’re oil free and you can make it GF as well if you use only spelt flour.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup almond milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp nut butter of your choice ( I used almond butter)

1 ripe, mashed banana

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 cup spelt flour

1/2 cup wholemeal flour

1/4 tsp baking soda

2 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt

Optional: if you want to make chocolate waffles add 1-2 tbsp raw cacao powder.

PREPARATION:

  1. Mix all ingredients and add the butter to your waffle iron.
  2. Decorate waffles with some fruits, chocolate sauce, maple syrup or anything you like.
